Russian Court dismisses case against the Bhagavad Gita

Siddharth Behura bail denied in 2G case

Siddharth BehuraThe former telecom secretary Siddharth Behura was denied bail by the Delhi High Court in the 2G spectrum allocation scam. He was arrested along with the former telecom minister A Raja on February 2 of this year. Siddharth Behura and A Raja are the only two people who are still in jail as all the other 12 accused have been granted bail by the various courts.

Government assures no censorship of the internet

internet censorshipAfter a meeting with the internet giants like Facebook, Google, Twitter etc. The Telecom Minister Kapil Sibal said that there would be no censorship of the internet. The meeting was to suggest to the internet representatives as to how the social media could be used as a medium to empower the government and help the citizens of the country to reach out to the government.  It was just last week that Kapil Sibal had met up with the internet giants and demanding that they remove any derogatory material from their sites and to also make sure that the uploading of such material is also stopped.
