Philippines’ Ex-President Gloria Arroyo arrested on fraud charges

Gloria_Arroyo arrestedEx-President of Philippines Mrs. Gloria Arroyo was arrested in her hospital on account of electoral fraud committed by her during the elections.  According to her the govt. denied her moving out of the country for getting treatment. She is suffering bone ailment and cure for that is not available in the country.  Gloria Arroyo applied to the Supreme Court for the permission of moving out of the country on ground of getting treatment, Supreme Court decided in her favor stating that she will not be stopped from moving out of the country.

China and Philippines dispute over bare lands raises tension bet

Recently china claimed some bare islands of Philippines to be a part of china. According to a report published in China the countries of the south china should be ready to bare the sound of cannons.  Philippines and US are under military pact and the incident took place after Hillary Clinton was in manila on 60th anniversary of their co-operations.
