US and NATO plans of missile shielding in Europe as received strong reaction from the Russians. The Russian president Dmitry Medvedev, said that the missile shielding is backed by US and is against Russians security interest as Russian wants that the shielding should not be against them, in a written legal way.

Cairo protests are still scaling new heights as the protesters are stepping up in their demand for resignation of the military rulers of the Egypt. Apparently, the protesters’ demands are there to only have a civilian government which will have nothing to do with the military. The Supreme Council of Armed Forces, in Egypt has announced that the powers will be handed over to the civilian president by the next year. The Army Chief Field Marshal Tantawi said parliamentary elections would begin as per the schedule the president will be elected by the June next year. It was announced after protest demanding that the military rulers should hand over the reigns to a civilian government immediately.
The Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has urged the Syrian president to step down, warning that he might suffer the same fate as the Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi.
