The growing trend in the mobile services like 3G, the users are reaping benefits which they never had before. The mobile payment system, mobile internet, gps, video calling, live TV  are services  have captured the attention of mobile users.  The experts are of the view that such services can be dangerous too. The services are vulnerable to many attacks like espionage, virus attacks to name a few. The remote tools are installed on your mobile through various malicious applications which enable the attacker to gain control over your mobile.

Not many people in India are aware that mobile services can be disrupted by virus. Most of the users do not have an anti-virus tool installed on their phone, which helps to filter spam content and virus. The security measures should be properly adopted by a mobile user. The intellectual property issues can also crop up by violation of copyright, piracy issues. The legal experts opine that there is a distinct need to amend the laws to provide legal protection and enforce strict rules in regard to security practices.

Many of the law enforcement authorities should be trained and the people also should become aware. The statutory protection should also be given so that the right to privacy of the users is not affected in the mobile world. The features like Bluetooth should be switched off when not in use. This can also be a loophole which can be exploited by an attacker say cyber security experts.
