Indian business tycoon Arun Nayar granted a quick divorce to Actress and model Elizabeth Hurley. Nayar’s four-year marriage with the British beauty ended yesterday at a London court even as neither of them was present at the court for hearing.

The couple was granted a decree by district judge Penny Cushing at the Principal Registry of the high court’s family division. The judge held that the marriage had “broken down irretrievably” and would be dissolved within six weeks. The couple married in March 2007 at Sudley Castle in England and later held a ceremony according to Hindu traditions in Jodhpur.

Hurley announced in December her split from her husband, after pictures emerged of her kissing Shane Warne in a hotel in London.
