AUSTRALIA: Under Law proposed by the Australian government of New South Wales, which includes Sydney, that Muslim women have to remove veils and show their face to the police officials when asked to do so for security purposes.

The state population has drawn criticism on this as a cultural insensitive.

The bill has to will be voted in August by the state parliament. The criticism against the bill has already been started by the Muslim community in Australia as they took it as a overreaction by the Australian traffic police when last week Muslim women driver refuse to open her “NIQAB”.

This matter has already been picked out in the major developed countries of the world like as in US, FRANCE etc. France and Belgium have banned face-covering veils in public.

The Muslim women said that” they are going to feel very shame and their privacy is being invaded”. It has been taken as a religious issue and Muslim are facing this all around the world they added. Sydney’s best-selling The Daily Telegraph newspaper commented on this regard “the world’s toughest burqa laws” as if a women defies police by refusing not to remove her burqa or face veil could be sentenced to a year in prison and fined up to AUD 5,500 ($5,900).

Ikebal Patel, president of the Australian Federation of Islamic Councils, said it’s a matter of racism and I will never support this.” Government leaders have also criticized some Muslim clerics that Muslim who don’t hide their faces behind veils invite rape and are forcing for sex.

Muslim community are facing racism as they are found more in allegations of terrorist activity and other destructive elements all around the world.
