Federal Judge dismisses Green Card Lawsuit

A lawsuit filed by a Dublin man Anton Kuraev and 35 other people have been dismissed by a federal Judge. Many of the immigrants to the US have their dream about green card lottery ticket so that they can apply for a green card but now, a green card lawsuit has been dismissed by a federal judge.

The consequence has been emotional pain for hopeful-citizens. The State Department did not bring the consideration of its error until it had already notified 22,316 applicants that they had been chosen for the lottery. And, in tracing the error, the State Department left vacant the results, launching a new lottery. A class action lawsuit was filed on behalf of the winners. The process is supposed to be strictly random.

The government voided the result and assured the citizens to redraw this summer.
