Yeddyurappa granted bail

YeddyurappaFormer Karnataka chief minister was granted bail by the Karnataka high court. Justice B.V.Pinto granted him the bail in the complaint regarding the denotification issue.  After spending 24 days in Central Jail, former Karnataka chief minister B S Yeddyurappa has been granted bail in one of the five complaints by the State High Court. Justice Pinto also announced granting bail to former minister Krishnaiah Setty who was the fifth accused.
Mr. Yeddyurappa was the accused number one in the case.

Earlier former chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa was jailed in one of the five private complaints of corruption and land scam. Mr. Yeddyurappa put into the Central Jail in Parappana Agrahara, Bangalore. Since October 15 after the court directed Lokayukta police to arrest him following two advocates from his home district of Shimoga filing five cases on various corruption and denotification charges against him and his family members.  When the bail application with respect of the third complaint came up before Justice B V Pinto, he gave partial relief by granting him bail provided Mr. Yeddyurappa does not tamper with evidence and furnish a bond of Rs five lakh.
