After spending 193 days in Delhi Tihar jail DMK MP Kanimozhi returned to Chennai. The total arrest in the Telecom Scam was 14 out of which 11 have got bail.
As per the CBI investigation for the sake of telecom license Mr Balwa paid Mr. Raja 214 Cr. Rs. For this offence Mr Balwa along with senior executives of other telecom companies, got arrested on 8th of February 2008
Earlier the bail was rejected by the Trial Court, High Court and the Supreme Court but on 28th of November she was granted bail by Hon’ble High Court. But to attend the court proceeding she was ordered to stay in Delhi but today she came to Chennai.
A Raja the former telecom minister has not been granted bail by the Hon’ble court. Today the promoter of Swan telecom has been granted bail by the Hon’ble court.
Before Leaving for Chennai at Delhi airport Ms Kanimozhi said she is very happy for the bail but her first step would be to prove her innocence. When she reached to Chennai airport she was welcomed by the family members at the airport with great number of the party supporters. There was the huge celebration for her welcome.
