A South Korea court sentenced 10 years imprisonment to a US soldier on Tuesday in the charge of raping a teenage girl.

The Uijeonghu District court convicted the 21 years old accused on the charge of sexually assaulting the 16 year old numerous times after breaking into house near Seoul in September. The soldier committed many sadistic and sexually perverted acts with the girl as he threatened the girl many times with a pair of scissors, a knife and a lighter and robbed her 5000 won ($4.50) also. The court said that the girl was terrified and sexually humiliated by the soldier. The court ordered the soldier to undergo 80 hours of counseling and his personal information to be made public on the South Korea government website for 10 years.

Prosecutor had demanded 15 years imprisonment but court said that the soldier had repented was still young and rape was his first crime. So court continued his decision and gave him a 10 years punishment.
