A new Voters Identification law is going to take effect from 1st January which is approved under the Voters Rights Act.
Under this law the voters should have to show some certain kinds of identification to the government for the voter registration card and these identifications includes; photo ID, such as Driving license, DPS personal ID card or Passport. For getting an Election ID Certificate voters who need an ID can get it free from the DPS offices.
The democrats don’t like that voter have to show such type of document as Driver’s license to get an election ID. The democrats says that we feel it as a pool tax as in this those people have to pay something to prove that they are who they say they are.
