At Southern Ohio, a 13 year old boy has been arrested for alleged raping a five year old girl at the playland of a McDonald.

On October 29 in Anderson Township, near Cincinnati, the 5year old was visiting the restaurant with her grandmother and playing in the Playland area when allegedly the teenager attacked and raped her.

After thorough investigation and scrutinisation, On Wednesday, the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department released a photo of the suspect from the McDonald’s camera to the news media.

The boy and his parents came into his department for an interview also though Michael L. Hartzler, a district commander didn’t want to disclose what was said in the interview, but said that,” Obviously this is something we don’t like to see. We tell parents don’t take your eyes off your kids.”

The juvenile was however taken into custody.

However, it’s still not sure whether the suspect will be tried as an adult. According to Hartzler, that will be decided by the judge.

Regarding the incident, Judson Pickard, the owner of McDonald stated that, “The safety and well-being of my customers, especially children, is extremely important. As a parent myself, I was very upset to learn about this situation. I’m taking this matter very seriously and fully cooperating with authorities in their investigation.”

The accused is waiting for his arraignment in the Hamilton Juvenile Detention Center.
