India claims the world’s largest uranium reserves found

India claims to have discovered the world’s largest uranium reserves. It has been found in the southern state of Andhra Pradesh.

It has been predicted that the uranium reserve will provide up to 150,000 tons of uranium. Srikumar Banerjee head of the Atomic Energy Commission of India said it was a four year long survey and had indicated that Tumalapalli mine near Hyderabad has reserves.
