Hearing of Hasan Ali deferred till July 1
The hearing on plea of the accused who dealt with the fake passport, Hasan Ali Khan, was deferred till 1st of July 2011.
Hassan Ali Khan is lodged in New Arthur Road jail in Mumbai and his bail petition was listed for hearing in the court of District and Sessions judge, V.N. Mishra.

The new draft guideline says, any doctor who suspects child abuse must raise the alarm immediately and tell the parents what action they will be taking. Doctors acting reasonably in response to concerns about abuse or neglect will not be subject to censure. The General Medical Council is holding a public consultation on the draft.

The Maharashtra Government is fighting female foeticide on a war footing and wanted to tighten the abortion laws under the Medical Termination of Pregnancy Act and Rules in order to protect the unborn girl child. If the reason cited for the procedure is ‘failure of contraceptive, the Government wants to prevent the women who are more than ten weeks pregnant, from undergoing an abortion.
