On Friday more than 20 countries, including the United States declared Qadhafi regime to be illegitimate and formally recognized Libya’s main opposition group to be the country’s government.

AFRICAN UNION MEMBERS WILL NOT COOPERATE WITH GADHAFI WARRANT
A three judge panel at the court at Hague in Netherlands issued arrest warrants on the for Gadhafi, his son Saif-al Islam Gadhafi and his brother in law Abdullah al-Sanussi on the 27th of June, 2011. But the African Unions have agreed not to cooperate with the International Criminal Courts as they feel that these warrants will only further complicate the efforts aimed at finding a solution to the crisis in Libya.
