Bankruptcy court’s DOMA ruling: Government Appeals

To file a joint bankruptcy petition by same sex couples gets the privilege by the U.S. Department of Justice requested permission to appeal an order. According to Defence of Marriage Act the trustee in U.S. has refused to file a bankruptcy case, saying that the couple was ineligible to file a joint petition.
