SPECIAL COURT FOR TRIAL FOR CBI CASES- JAMMU AND KASHMIR

jammu kashmir The Jammu and Kashmir state cabinet under the chairmanship of chief minister OMAR ABDULLAH met at Srinagar approved the creation of a special court for   cases being investigated by the Central Bureau of Investigation.

An official said, “A special court for trial and disposal of cases investigated by CBI in the state and creation of 13 posts of different categories were approved in today’s cabinet meet”. The cabinet also gave a positive assertion to the enhancement of lifelong pension from Rs 1000 to Rs 2000 per month in favor of electric shock victim’s Ravi Kumar and Rinku Jee Bhat.

It also sanctioned Re-employment of Soba Ram, Ex-joint director, hospitality and protocol department on an agreement basis for a further period of 6 months starting from july 1, 2011. The cabinet also passed Jammu and Kashmir Hydro Electricity Projects Development Policy-2011.
