Spain court overturns convictions of Nazi propaganda disseminators

flag spainThe Apex Court of Spain on Friday overturned the convictions of four individuals charged with distributing neo-Nazi propaganda. The four men were convicted and sentenced to three and a half years in prison by the court in Barcelona in October 2009 for forming illegal association and propagating genocide. The men were arrested for distributing books and materials that defended holocaust. The Apex Court in its judgment opined that propagating Nazi ideology is not a crime unless it is used to incite violence or to create hostile climate in the society.
