Norway suspects confess shooting, bombing but declares untrue the breaking law

According to the Norwegian police, the man named Anders Behring Breivik, 32 in custody accused for a bombing and shooting fling that killed at least 93 people has confessed to the crimes, but does not accept criminal responsibility.

The suspect’s lawyer said that he was intended by a desire to bring about a transformation in Norwegian society. According to policy statement, he is believed to have written harangue against Muslim immigration to Europe and pledged retaliation on indigenous Europeans who he accused of cheating their heritage.

According to Norwegian law, Police tagged the attacks as acts of terrorism punishable by up to 21 years confinement, Norway does not have the death penalty. On the island of Utoya, 85 people including most of the teenagers, were killed in the Friday afternoon shooting at a summer camp for the youth wing of the ruling Labor Party. The violent disorder followed a bombing 90 minutes earlier that toned through government offices in the Oslo and killed at least seven people.
According to the Anders Breivik Attorney’s client has admitted responsibility for Friday’s attacks.
