IN RESPECT OF THE ARGUMENT OF MR. TIWARI THAT HE COULDN’T BE FORCED TO GIVE EVIDENCE AGAINST HIMSELF, THE HONOURABLE HC SAID THAT THE SAMPLES TO BE COLLECTED ARE FOR AN EVIDENTIARY VALUE AND WOULD BE HELPFUL IN DECIDING THE PATERNITY CLIAMS RAISED BY A YOUNG MAN, ADDING FURTHER THAT SUCH ARGUMENTS RAISED BY MR.TIWARI COULD BE LOOKED INTO AND DISCUSSED ONLY AFTER THE COLLECTION OF THE SAMPLES.
THE COURT HAS BEEN HEARING A PETITION BY A YOUNG MAN NAMED ROHIT SHEKHAR WHO CLAIMS TO BE MR.TIWARI’S BIOLOGICAL SON. The High Court has designated the dispensary on its premises for collection of the blood samples of Mr. Tiwari.
