Along with the Government representatives, the members of the civil society on Lokpal will come to the table to level out the differences. The meeting comes in the wake of allegations flying thick and fast on both sides.

So far the Lokpal bill has met six times. The fifth meeting was held on 30th of May 2011 which was a failure with the talks being tied up.

And the representatives of the civil society themselves boycotted the sixth meet that was held on 6th of June 2011 and they held a protest at Rajghat two days later, flashing angry debate on both the sides. Numerous needs were put forward by different groups, which were conflicting with each other. Therefore, in such sound and fury the core issues of the debate were lost.

Now, all are curiously waiting for the decisive meeting which is to be taken place on Wednesday, 15th of June 2011. It remains to be seen whether there will be breakthrough or a breakdown.
