She announced in the run up top 2008 assembly polls that 60,000 low costs flats were ready to handling over knowing that it was not ready. The lokayukta slammed her by saying she did this to obtain gain or favour to herself or her political party.
The hard words stood against her as the lokayukta asked the general public to be conscious and stand together against the fake politics and political leaders. Dikhsit refused to comment on the order saying that she has not gone through the order and has not studied it.
The misinterpretation of facts was there in a booklet issued just before the election. This showed the registration form for allotment of flats to the slums dwellers and the urban poor although it was never done. The complaint was filed by a BJP worker, advocate Sunita Bhardwaj.
The lokayukta recommends the president to kindly order her for a safe and pure politics and be careful for any publicity statement in future. He added instead of a regret to this she said it’s an incorrect translation from a private agency.
