Union Minister S. Jaipal Reddy’s niece, Dr. Kiran Reddy, 26 years, was found dead under suspicious circumstances at her residence at Jubilee Hills on Saturday, 18^th of June 2011.

On Sunday, 19^th of June 2011, her parents have filed a murder case against her husband, Dr. Chaitanya Reddy, based on the complaint lodged by her parents.

Dr. Kiran Reddy got married to Dr. Chaitanya Reddy before five years and they have a four-year-old daughter.

Kiran Reddy was Jaipal Reddy’s younger sister’s daughter and she was working as dermatologist while her husband, Dr. Chaitanya Reddy does business.

The police reported that, on Friday, 17^th of June 2011, the couple went to attend the bachelor’s party organized by Kiran’s younger brother Sunil, and returned home late. And after reaching home they slept at separate rooms.

Chaitanya found Kiran lying in the bed unconscious, on Saturday, 18^th of May 2011. She was taken to Apollo Hospital immediately by him, where she was declared brought dead.

The cops initially booked a suspicious death but no suicide note was found.

Kiran’s family approached the police on Sunday, 19^th of June 2011 alleging that their son-in-law and his family might have killed their daughter, and on the basis of this complaint, the police altered the case to murder.
