Israel’s Prime Minister said that Iran is closer to building a nuclear bomb than ever before and the full extent of the situation cannot be contemplated by the UN’s IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency).
Iran is closer to getting an (atomic) bomb than is thought,” Prime Minister Netanyahu said in remarks to cabinet ministers, quoted by an official from his office.

“Only things that could be proven were written (in the U.N. report), but in reality there are many other things that we see,” Netanyahu said, according to the official.
Iran has dismissed accusations that it is developing nuclear weapons and says it needs atomic technology for electricity and other peaceful projects. It called the IAEA report “unbalanced” and “politically motivated.”
The IAEA papers also mentions that if the situation continues like this then Israel or the United States might take military action against Iran.
But both Washington and Israel have said they are keeping all options on the table to stop Tehran developing a nuclear bomb.
Israel is the only country which has nuclear arsenal in the whole Middle East and being a key ally of the US, American interest wants to make sure it stays that way.
