Attorneys for the ex-IMF chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn has criticized the New York Police Department alleging that their frequent feeds to the media has tainted Mr.Dominique’s right to fair trial. They have filed a petition before the court asking for an order to stop the NYPD from doing so. The attorneys argued that such valuable information would undermine the quality of the on going judicial process. The ex-IMF chief is accused of attempting to sexually assault a hose keeping staff and was arrested later on the same charges. He is now facing a trial under a New York court.
