TERRORIST FORCE MINOR GIRL TO WEAR SUICIDE VEST

MINOR GIRL SUICIDE VESTAn eight year old girl was kidnapped by two women and a man and was forced to wear a suicide vest for blowing herself up at a check post in the Lower Dir area of Khyber Pukhtoonkhwa.

Suhana, a grade III student was kidnapped from Peshawar. They apparently beckoned her and when she approached them they put a handkerchief around her nose and she fell unconscious. Once she regained consciousness, she was forced to wear a suicide vest and taken to the police post in Balambat area of Lower Dir.

After dropping her off near the check post, the abductors instructed herself up once she got there and instructing they fled the spot. Utilizing the opportunity, she ran to the police and raised alarm.

This is the first case of someone being so young forced into becoming a suicide bomber within a day of being in the clutches of the terrorists.

Using children as a source of suicide bombing is not new in this part of the world. There are many instances where teenagers were used as suicide bombers. On the most evident one when in April a 14-year-old who was nabbed before he could detonate himself told the police that he and his associates were told that they were being taken to Afganistan to attack the Americans. But, they were dropped off at the Sufi shrine of Sakhi Sarwar in South Punjab on April 3rd, where their attack killed over 40 people.
