Delhi Belly controversy-petition filed

In High Court of Allahabad, Lucknow Bench has been undertaking with a challenge to Aamir Khan Production movie Delhi Belly. As the movie is in use of vulgar, cheap, nasty and objectionable language there has been the petition filed seeking ban on releasing of the movie.

The High Court bench comprising Justices Uma Nath Singh and Anil Kumar has sought a feedback from the Prime Minister’s office as well as Central Censor Board within four weeks and the court has posted the matter to August 28 for further proceedings. The Hindu Personal Board, Ashok Pandey and Vinod Shanker Mishra, has filed the petition and pointed out that another challenge to previous Aamir Khan production – Peepli Live is also pending in the court and regardless of that the latest release from Aamir Khan production house has used even more unacceptable language. Here petitioner this solely shows as to how the producers have no respect to the authority of the court. The revenue earned from the movie screening to the Prime Minister Relief Fund should be return back from the producers as there is a pray in the petition plea.
