OSMANIA UNIVERSITY ON HUNGER STRIKE OVER TELANGANA ISSUE
The Osmania University Campus has emerged out as the epicenter for agitation regarding the separate statehood for Telangana with the latest reports confirming that the university students have answered a call for a massive hunger strike by the Telangana Student Joint Action Committee. The mass hunger strike will be observed by 100s of students of the Hyderabad University who are enraged on the Centre’s inaction on the Telangana issue.
Last week many Andhra Pradesh assembly ministers put in their resignation in their demand for a separate statehood status for Telangana in addition to a 4-long bandh.
