Court grants bail to former Bihar Minister Ramadhar Singh.

Ramadhar Singh - former ministerThe Sessions court granted bail to the former Co-operative Minister and BJP MLA Ramadhar Singh for allegedly making inflammatory speech disturbing communal harmony in the area in 1995, on 3rd of June 2011.

Mr. Singh was declared as an absconder by the court as he did not appear before the court despite the issuance of summons and warrant against him and the matter created flutter in the political circles and the corridors of power.

Mr. Sing had surrendered before the court recently and was remanded in judicial custody in connection with the case. He pleaded before the court that he was unaware of the summon and warrant issued against him in connection with the case and stated that if at all he was aware of the case, he would have surrendered before the court much earlier.

The bail was granted to MLA by the District and the Sessions Judge-II Alok Pandey after hearing both the parties
