TV reports stated that at least twenty people were killed when a speeding truck run over them on the Dolka- Bagodra highway at early morning Thursday, 9th of June 2011.
It was on the highway, near Bejwa crossroad, the incident took place where a number of people on their way to pilgrimage were sleeping on the roadside.
Sixteen persons have died on the spot while fifteen others were reported to have been injured. The injured are said to have been admitted in the V.S hospital in Ahmadabad.
